Board and CET are one syllabus, not two
MHT-CET is set on the Maharashtra State Board syllabus. Splitting the year into board study and separate CET study wastes the overlap. At Concept-Tree the same chapter is taught once, then practised twice - written answers for the board paper and timed MCQs for CET.
How the two years run
Std 11 covers the first-year portion at a pace that leaves room for concepts to settle, because roughly one fifth of the CET paper comes from it. Std 12 covers the second-year portion and then returns to Std 11 chapters in revision, so the older material is not sitting untouched for eighteen months.
Testing
Chapter tests follow each chapter. Full-length papers start once the syllabus is far enough along to make them meaningful, and are written on OMR sheets under time pressure. Every paper is discussed afterwards - the marks matter far less than knowing which mistakes were guessing, which were silly and which were genuine gaps.
Percentile, not marks
MHT-CET reports a percentile, so your score depends on how everyone else did on your shift. That is why speed and accuracy under a clock are practised deliberately rather than left to exam day.

Common questions
Do you teach Biology for the PCB group?
No. Concept-Tree teaches the PCM group - Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Students taking the PCB group are better served by an institute that teaches Biology in-house.
Can I join in Std 12 only?
Yes, and students do. You will need to put extra work into the Std 11 portion, which is a real part of the CET paper. We will tell you honestly at the counselling session how much catching up that means for you.
Is the coaching in Marathi or English?
Teaching is bilingual. Explanations are given in whichever language the concept lands in, and all written material follows the board paper.
How many students are in a batch?
Batches are kept small enough that a teacher can tell who has stopped following. Ask about current batch strength when you call - the honest answer changes through the year.
